SME deal activity up on previous year despite Brexit vote

According to the Cass Business School UK Growth Buyout report, deal activity amongst British SME's in the first half of 2016 has seen a marked increased on the same period in the previous year. Private equity investors completed 40 deals this year in the £10m – £100m mark, as opposed to 35 last year. What’s more, the Brexit vote looks to have had little affect on the numbers, with a further 10 deals have completed since the UK voted to leave the EU on 23 June.
