New legislation on tips – input sought

The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) wants to hear from members who work in any sectors where tipping, gratuities or service charges are often used, such as restaurants, hairdressers and hotels.

The Government has announced that new legislation is to be introduced, which means that all tips should go in full to the workers providing the service.

If this could impact you and your business, please contact Emelia Quist at the FSB, or speak to us today about how we can help you and your business. We work with our clients to put processes in place which make it easier to run your business and to maintain effective management of your company’s working capital. We also assist with management accounts, enabling better control of your financial situation and awareness of the business in real time, enhancing planning for the peaks and troughs.
