Congratulations to our Beavis Morgan champions for completing the Trailwalker 2014!

Set up by the legendary Gurkhas in 1981 to test teamwork, endurance and determination, Trailwalker is the ultimate physical and mental challenge.

The Beavis Morgan Team, made up of Peter Thompson, Ollie Oates, Nobby Delee, Eamonn Daly, Mauro Garbini, Will Hollis, Nigel Haigh and Jonny Hawkins, crossed the finish line of Trailwalker 2014 in an impressive 26 hours, having covered 100 kms across the South Downs, accomplishing their ambition of raising over £8,000 for the Ghurkha Welfare Trust and Oxfam UK.

Trailwalker team member and Beavis Morgan Managing Partner, Nigel Haigh, commented on the event: “Well done to all involved – it was a terrific team effort and a great achievement, none of which would have been possible without the fantastic work of the support crew – Nina Haigh, Sarah Downes, Caroline Roberts, TM Jose, Saffron Fisher and Rose Glennie – who worked tirelessly at check points providing food, drink, medical support and constant encouragement. Thank you for successfully completing the journey with us."

“Also, a huge thank you to our supporters for sponsoring us and making the challenge worthwhile. The money you have donated will provide necessary financial and medical help to build communities around the world and give people in poverty the lift they need.”

There is still time to donate money to this worthy cause. Here is link to Nigel Haigh’s donation page –https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/nigelhaigh1# Total funds raised by each of the walkers will be pooled and submitted to the Charity on 2 November.
