UK commercial property rents up in June

Whilst capital value slowed in June, commercial property rents were up 0.2 per cent, according to the latest CBRE index. Rental value growth was however down in the first half of the year, with a 1.1 per cent growth, as opposed to 1.7 per cent in the same period last year.

Demand for commercial rental property seems to continue to be strong, but the real numbers will show in the July index when we see how asset values have been affected as a result of the Brexit vote.
