Tech businesses optimistic about growth

Technology businesses are optimistic about their chances of success, according to a recent poll of UK owner-managers and entrepreneurs.

The survey revealed that tech entrepreneurs are more positive about their prospects for growth compared to the rest of the market, with three quarters (74 per cent) of tech entrepreneurs and business leaders forecasting growth in 2017.

Of those surveyed, nearly half (45 per cent) felt their businesses would thrive regardless of access to the EU single market.

In the wider entrepreneurial and small business sector, only 56 per cent of those surveyed anticipated growth this year.
