According to a study by the ACCA, professional accountants require a blend of seven key skills sets, dubbed the "Magnificent Seven", to be successful. Over two years the ACCA surveyed 2,000 professional accountants and spoke to 300 leaders in every sector across 19 countries. The results show that the skill sets most sought by employers now and in the future include intellect, creativity, emotional intelligence, vision, experience, technical skills and a mastery of the digital world.
