A recent analysis shows that the number of companies falling into administration across England and Wales was broadly static during the first quarter of 2017. The number of administrations ticked up from 294 in Q4 2016 to 297 in Q1 2017. There are many underlying reasons why companies may fall into administration or insolvency.
