Hospitality sector boosted by Brexit vote

According to recent economic surveys, Britons are eating and drinking their way through the Brexit vote, giving businesses in the hospitality sector a major boost. What's more, a report today by the CBI has found that bars, restaurants and hotels are leading the way in the services industry, which has expanded significantly over the past three months and accounts for 80 per cent of the UK economy.

With British households more confident than ever about their financial prospects, according to reports, now is the time for businesses in the hospitality industry to gain a competitive advantage, by listening to customer wishes, improving service levels and implementing innovative strategies to attract new customers and encourage repeat business.

The hospitality sector offers good enterprise opportunities to entrepreneurs, with low barriers to entry. But those with a considered business plan and a sector specialist to advise them are more likely to reap the rewards of increased sales and turnover.
