The annual SmallBiz100* Blue Tie event took place last night at the Phoenix Arts Club in London, attended by nearly 250 SmallBiz100 representatives.
Each year, the winner of the “Francesca Kemp Award for Small Business” is announced at the annual Blue Tie event, rewarding the business or individual that contributes the most to their community and the wider small business community across the UK.
Our congratulations go out to the recipient of the award this year, Craig Beaumont, Director of External Affairs and Advocacy at the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).
An announcement by SmallBiz100 says: “Craig has worked with Small Business Saturday in both his role at FSB and in much of his spare time since the campaign launched in 2013. He has sat on the Small Business Saturday Advisory Board since 2015 and plays a key role in engaging the small business sector in the campaign across the UK.
“Craig has encouraged and supported many small businesses in applying for the SmallBiz100 and personally works on promoting FSB members and non-members to get them the recognition he believes they deserve. As is a strong advocate for small business with government and in the press, Craig is a leading voice in campaigning for diversity and support for mental health in small businesses.”
Well done to Craig who is a strong ambassador for small businesses and a worthy winner for his time spent inspiring and motivating small business leaders to get to where they are today.
