Exciting opportunity for SMEs to take their next steps in international trade and to potentially win $5000.
Are you an active exporter? Or are you considering starting the export journey? Together, the International Chambers of Commerce (ICC) and the World Trade Organisation (WTO) have launched the ‘Open to Export Initiative’, a new competition giving SMEs the chance to win $5000 cash towards their export plans for international growth.
All you need to do is submit your completed Export Action Plan by 10 August 2018. The plan asks questions along each of the following 5 steps:
- Getting started
- Selecting a market
- Reaching customers
- Pricing and getting paid
- Delivery and documentation
Ten finalists will then be invited to pitch to an international panel of expert judges at the WTO Public Forum in October.
This competition is being run as part of the WTO-ICC Small Business Champions initiative.
More information can be found on the Open to Export website.
