With an estimated 5.4 million small businesses (defined as those with 0-49 employees) in the UK, accounting for 99.3 per cent of all private sector businesses, the Awards recognise the UK’s leading traders, micro businesses and small companies – as well as the services providers and advisers that support them.

Commenting on the awards, Steve Govey, Partner within our Beavis Morgan Entrepreneur & SME Support Team, says: “Small businesses are vital for the UK economy, stimulating growth, driving innovation and generating employment. The British Small Business Awards are an excellent way of recognising British enterprise and encouraging innovation. Congratulations and good luck to all those shortlisted for an award.”

At Beavis Morgan, we specialise in working with entrepreneurial people across a wide range of sectors, helping them set up and run their own businesses and guiding them through each stage of the process, whilst navigating the challenges and advising them in making the right decisions both now and for the future – for themselves, their families and their businesses. We are also able to assist businesses in relation to the successful application of R&D* tax credits and we have helped many businesses make significant claims when they were previously unaware that they could.
