Beavis Morgan signs top world ranking golf sponsorship deal

In keeping with our extensive knowledge of advising individuals and businesses in the Sports sector, Beavis Morgan is delighted to announce that we have signed a sponsorship agreement with golfer Jamie Donaldson, currently ranked number 30 in the world.

Like us, Jamie is going from strength to strength. In January this year, he celebrated a victory in the HSBC Abu Dhabi Championship and his subsequent entry into WGC events and the Players Championship.

This follows a hugely successful 2012 for Jamie, which saw him win the Irish Open, finish seventh at the US PGA and end the year placed 47th in the Official World Golf Rankings. And, to top it all off, Jamie received an invitation to the 2013 Masters.

So indeed a great 2012 for Jamie, but one he says he wants to continue to improve upon this year, as he competes in all the Majors, WGC's, some PGA events and the European Tour.

Peter Drown, Beavis Morgan Senior Partner, comments on the sponsorship announcement: “When we were approached to sponsor Jamie, we jumped at the opportunity to support this up and coming golfing super star. Jamie’s professionalism, enthusiasm and drive to succeed is not dissimilar to that of our own business, and it closely matches the determination of our strong entrepreneurial client base.”

The sponsorship provides financial support for Jamie’s travel, equipment and other expenses. In turn, through named branding on the collar of his shirt, Beavis Morgan will gain exposure and raise awareness on both a corporate level, as well as with an audience of high net worth individuals, to which the group provides a comprehensive advisory offering.

Peter continues: “We look forward to partnering with Jamie as he continues to progress up the world rankings and we wish him every success both now and in the future.”
