The Beavis Morgan group is pleased to announce our sponsorship of Dorking Rugby Football Club (DRFC).
Formed in 1921, Dorking RFC is a leading Surrey Club which is open to the whole community with five senior teams, and a thriving youth and mini section of over 500 children made up of Junior (U12-U18), Kids First (U5-U11) and Girls (U11-U18) sections.
2021 is an exciting year for the Club, which has achieved strong levels of success in recent seasons, with alumni including internationals in both the male and female game. The extension and partial conversion of the pavilion currently underway will provide a suite of fitness, physio and recovery facilities for male and female rugby players of all ages, as well as the wider community.
Situated on the National Trust’s Brockham Big Field, with views across to Box Hill, the project aims to deliver an innovative inclusive fitness and recovery centre, incorporating workout, physio, education, storage and breakout spaces, as well as improved wheelchair accessibility throughout, and the introduction of a large viewing terrace at first floor level. The facilities are scheduled to open this season.
Commenting on the sponsorship announcement, Beavis Morgan Senior Partner, Peter Drown, says: “We are delighted to sponsor and support Dorking RFC which is a thriving part of the community and the epitome of grassroots rugby, playing a major role in local recreation, health and social opportunities.
“Our sponsorship sees an alignment of core values and culture, with both Beavis Morgan and Dorking RFC placing great emphasis on innovation, dedication and an unwavering commitment to achievement.
“We wish the club, its players and its many supporters all the best for a successful season and we look forward to partnering with you on the journey.”
Shaun Hammond, Chairman, Dorking Rugby Football Club, adds: “On behalf of Dorking Rugby Football Club, I am delighted to welcome the Beavis Morgan group to our established stable of lead partners and sponsors. The support we gain from this relationship enables us to enhance the scope of our offering to our rugby family and the wider community, for which we are most grateful. Welcome to DRFC!”
