The Autumn Statement 2013 will be made by the Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne on Thursday 5 December 2013.
The statement provides an update on the government's plans for the economy based on the latest forecasts from the Office for Budget Responsibility and is regarded as the second most significant economic event of the parliamentary year after the Budget.
