BM Connect is currently recruiting Payroll Specialist. This is a full time role in a team of four, reporting to the Payroll Manager.

Software used: Iris Payroll Professional (formerly Star) and Pay Dashboard.

Requirements:

Good client-payroll experience – min 5 years.
Strong grasp if IT, in particular MS Excel
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to manage deadlines impeccably
Good numeracy skills
Experience of importing payroll data
Happy to play an active role in a developing department
Experience of Iris Payroll Professional (formerly Star) desirable but not essential
Experience of Sage 50 Payroll also desirable
Experience of payroll software migration desirable
Friendly person to fit into a friendly team

Duties:

Running payrolls from start to finish for a small portfolio of large client payrolls
Assisting the management of a portfolio of outsourced payrolls
Submitting pension contributions to various pension providers
Submitting net wages for payment via our BACS service provider
Dealing with client queries over the phone and email
Dealing with HMRC queries
Supporting the development of the department with process improvement and introducing automation
Documenting processes
